More Flexibility, Less Cardboard Waste,
Door-to-Door Delivery
EuroAmerican created Freight Options Plus in the wake of 9/11. The production
and shipping departments collaborated on the pallet design, while our first truck
carrier, Armellini Express Lines, provided the guidance on routing. Today EuroAmerican
can ship orders by temperature-controlled truck anywhere in the continental United States.
And to better serve our growers, we have created our own routes. Silver Pines Trucking, Inc.
is a trucking brokerage firm we use from week 2 to week 22. This firm gives us the ability
to offer less than truckload (LTL) at truckload (TL) pricing. Both trucking companies are
available for large orders with at least 72 trays. Of course, you can always ship less
than 72 trays, but you will be paying the same price.
For large customers, the LTL Silver Pines and Armellini program offers a reasonable pricing
option, but neither program offers any-day shipping and flexible delivery options. Both programs
have set days of the week pick-up and delivery schedules. For the first time in 2006, we are
pleased to offer two additional Silver Pines shipping options:
- We will run three (3) routes on Saturday from week 2 to week 18
- We will run two (2) routes on Wednesday from week 7 to week 22
This Wednesday shipping day will allow us to help those customers who need additional product
at the last possible moment, while still offering dedicated delivery service to our pre-book customers.
Please note: Wednesday ship customers must be able to take delivery on the weekend.
