I cannot stress this enough-if you do nothing else…remember the “butt-brush” effect and avoid this at all cost! There’s nothing worse for a consumer to brush up against a display full of product, knocking something over. Save the embarrassment and your product, make sure there is plenty of traffic space between each display.

Play around with colors, textures and the lines of your store and fixtures. Color says it all-studies have shown that specific colors evoke certain emotions. Play with contrasting colors, texture certain fixtures to match the product and not all displays have to be the traditional vertical or horizontal. It’s your store, take pride in it and have it reflect who you are!
